Tranexamic Acid (Topical)

The topical form of tranexamic acid used for treating melasma and hyperpigmentation. Works by inhibiting plasminogen activator in keratinocytes.

How to Use

Apply in serum or cream form. Can be used morning and evening. Often combined with niacinamide and vitamin C.

Strong clinical evidence for melasma treatment. 5% topical TXA shown comparable to 2% hydroquinone in some studies. Safe for long-term use.

Cautions
